Our village is Kumbukkadawala. It has a big tank. It is on the village boundary. temple over the tank. tank about is handred hectars. the bund is very wide. It is a road way. A stretch of paddy fields. people bathing in the tank. bors and girls rest on the bund. small chilrend like to the tank. they swim and play in the tank. upper catchment is full of bushes. very beautiful our tank. It is a bird paradise

cricket is an international sports.cricket ia   most popular in our country. there are tow of match as and oae day matches and  test matchas. there are eleven players in a team. Mahela Jayawaydana is the present captain in our team. he is clever bats man. Muththaiya Muralidaran is a clever bowler. we have won a lot of maches. cricket is not popular every countryinthe world. I like to play cricket. I hope to be aaplayer one day.

English is a languge. it is very simple. our mother tongue is not English. our languge is sinhala. becouse, we are sinhala. but , we must learn English languge. becouse it is an international languge. English languge is want to our day to day life. and also, English knowledge is want to any job. there for, we must learn English. we learn English weekly. I like to English.
